Position Summary:
As a Mobile Ultrasound Sonographer, you will be responsible for providing mobile ultrasound services primarily in various nursing homes, home care facilities, prisons, and processing sites within the regions we serve. You will use portable sonographic equipment to perform exams ordered by physicians and send the images to a Radiologist for interpretation. This role requires excellent technical skills, patient care, and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities:
- Self-dispatch or communicate with the dispatch department for case information.
- Unload portable sonographic equipment at the assigned facility and conduct ordered exams.
- Check voicemail and available cases regularly.
- Follow company dress code and wear the provided uniform and name tag.
- Communicate efficiently with the call center, dispatch, peers, supervisory staff, and clients.
- Maintain and care for the company-provided vehicle and sonographic equipment.
- Ensure compliance with medical ethics and maintain a high standard of professionalism.
Qualifications:
- Registered with ARDMS or CCI for vascular ultrasound.
- Vascular (ARDMS: RVT, CCI: RVS, or ARRT: R.T. (VS)) registered, with dual modalities being a plus (General/Vascular, Echo/Vascular).
- Graduate of an accredited diagnostic ultrasound technology program.
- Hold required certifications and registries as well as health and operational requirements.
- Possess a valid driver's license.
Physical Demands:
The role involves lifting the equipment bag (18-20 pounds) into and out of the vehicle and pulling a wheeled cart with an initiating force of 10 lbs and a sustained force of 5 to 8 pounds for up to 250 feet.

Work Schedule:
